WHISPERS OF LOVE

Whispers of love;
Take my heart to sea
Labor my strength to weakness
Till my yields into barrenness
Gown my garments in nakedness
Set me free within your cages
Feed my abundance with your plate of hunger
Let me breathe under your tidal waters
Let me rest under your scorching sun
And let my cry for freedom, yearn to forever be enslaved to your will.

Whispers Of Love
YOU CHOSE YOU

I traded my tears to uncloud my eyes to see you
I shredded my fears to free my heart to believe in you
I buried my pride hoping to be love's biggest fool
And I let myself go, so you could take full control

But that was when your innocence was like an incense
A burning aroma that could wield love from vengeance
My perfect soul search
You softened my heart till you could wear my soul like a night dress
I would have died for you if you had asked

Where did I go wrong?
You traded our field of love for a grain of lust
You left my flourishing heart adust
You imprisoned my hopes in the dungeons of pain to rust
You took my soul
And watched my dying heart run cold

You knew when I needed saving from truth
You knew when my suffering was painful
You knew when I was down in the mouth
But you watched my veins drain regrets and doubts

You could have saved me
You could have lightened this burden for me
But no, you chose you

You Chose You
BLUE HEART

You defend your imperfections with a past you never share

You seek love with a heart you tainted blurred

You judge yourself perfect but for everything else you can blame others steered

You believe everything you are is 'self made' but for everything love made you bear

How do you seek love so deep but give love so shallow

How come love left you, just when she made you mellow

Does your pain ever question you, why always you?

THE BEACON

As the tides began to crawl aboard, our faiths began to fall.

Fear swept our souls ashore, before death enslaved us all.

Our ears deafened to our captain’s call, but heeded to the creaking noises as the masts began to fall.

But soon a shout afore, with fingers trembling towards up north.

Behold a light appeared, the beacon we’ve all been hoping for.

Our hope returned our strengths, every man ready to endure.

For whatever this storm will take from us, we are ready to settle the score.

With all in one accord, we paddled the wrecks up shore.

The Beacon
SHADOWS

I'm like a shadow

The one who strolls by your side in the reign of light

A stranger you keep out of sight and consciously refuse to invite

When the company of your friends till your days into shoots of seasonal joy

Behold!

For soon the darkness sweeps

Your loneliness leaps

And fear starts to creep deep within you

Your feet start to tremble

Your belief start to quiver

And then you finally look at me

Worry not!

I'll be right next to you;

Folding my arms to embrace the cold of loneliness; just as you do

Bowing my head in the shame of regret; just as you do

All of me in empathy for you

For long stands my curse

To always be the one to dwell by your side in your worst

When everyone else lets go of you

All you have to do is look, I'm right next to you

And I'll always be here for you

Shadows
WEEPING STARS

Can I tell you a story about the stars?

From the day they chose to burn their skins to light up our skies

To the day they’ll leave our forgotten sky for a place much high

A place they can remain cool as ice and still twinkle their cutest lights

A place they’ll be treated as queens and needeth not fight the street lights to win the busy stare of human eyes

A place they needeth not share their sky with the stylish moon nor the showy sun to ply their selfless plan

And so they will, all one day at our wake, be far from nigh

Weeping Stars
LETTING GO

I watched it rise in my presence

Knowing how its bloom would shadow my existence

A moment regret lives to replay

A moment you seek saving from the very torture that splits your flesh in your dismay

It’s a pity how life plays

But who am I to stop the very orchestra I composed?

So I’ll walk the fool’s way

Listen to my agony play from the doorway

I’ll surrender myself a victim to the blame games

Walk slowly with my head low

Wear a mask of smiles in clear skies

And do my crying in the rain

Then I’ll let nature compose and orchestrate whatever tomorrow holds

Letting Go
LADY

Let go of your mirror

And look at yourself through my eyes

Let down your sculpturing tools

And wear yourself by my side

Let dry your painting brushes

And let your skin grace my gallery

Let loose your swaddling clothes

And let my lips kiss warmth into your body with a touch of silk

Let free your doubting mind

And let my love take your heart to sail

Let out all your fears

And drain out all your tears

For I live to see your smile bloom alive again and again

Like the never fading smile of a clown

Lady
LOST LOVE

You were nursed in my fragile branches for so long

You lost some feathers and I lost some leaves to worst weathers, yet we thrived

You found your shade in my shadows till the sunset kissed your trembling talons farewell

You practiced your deadly pecks on my bark; every strike splitting my bark like a slave master’s wand.

Behold now; the queen of the skies!

Your majestic wings stir shadows of terror in the silent waters

Your vision scope far beyond my homely borders; for your treasures no more reside by my side

Your might pities my fragile branches

And so I’ve become another old tree standing at the banks

The very peak you viewed the world on; now shorter for your hunting scope

Was I once not the glory of tallness in your eyes?

The very shelter you once clinched to in fear of tomorrow; now fragile for your gigantic perch

Was I once not your protection from the winds?

It’s hard to let go of you, little eagle, though I knew this day would surely come

I’ll always be standing here, waiting for your mighty wings to throw your beautiful shadows of fulfillment on me

For you’ll always remain my baby bird

So soar on little eagle, soar on!

Lost Love
THE WIND'S GUEST

You wear a gleaming smile in tune to the rising morning

Yet I can see your tears miles away in the pouring rain

Your heart is an abode for angels; but your tongue is enslaved to the devil

Through your eyes I can sketch perfection; but through your doubts I can erase it

Nature gifted you with innocence, but you mastered the ways of guilt

You remain a dilemma to life;

For you taught me to believe in love; yet you wrap yourself in the draining lust of hate

It puzzles me; how the chef to the banquet of joy, will chose to dine with sorrow?

And how the bride of ‘King Future’ will chose to live with ‘Mr. Slave Past’?

The price of your beauty is a Mona Lisa to a modern era

Yet under the feet of your creator, you still picture yourself a slave to your past

You shed the tears of a woman locked in shackles

Behold, thy only chain hangs around thy neck; a pearl men will slaughter themselves just to touch

You are a treasure from the lost seas;

But for your being the guest to the wind, I would have bid you priceless on auction.

LIFE

The beauty of life!

We are the actors playing on the stage of life in a scene directed by the ever talented hands of nature

Today we take the stage

Tomorrow is only a guess, from the suspense she left on our minds today

Today we dream,

But that remains our own fantasies of a beautiful tomorrow

Dreams will come true,

But that is just a satisfaction in the minds of those who predicted nature correctly;

Like the satisfaction of a farmer who predicted the rains before planting.

So let us live today, in the perfect robes of happiness

Let us share our gifts today with the eager audience who couldn’t share this stage even though they dreamed with us

Let us act our hearts out, to prove to life we deserve the beams of its amazing spotlights

Life
MISUNDERSTOOD

Sometimes I wish I can merge my soul and mind to let in the people who care

I wish you can feel how I feel for a minute then you can understand why I’m this way

I am a writer, but I’m yet to find the right words for my life

I easily find the words to express the world and other lives in perfection

But when it comes to me my ability is clothed in shades of disability

Words I say seem to carry a double edged sword that slay stripes of pain in the very hearts I seek to protect

Sometimes I feel nature cursed me, and my adaptation is hidden in an oath of silence

But then again, the more I find comfort in my shells, the deeper the cuts I left in their hearts go

What am I supposed to say, what am I supposed to do?

What if I’m misunderstood again?

The irony of my life is the first thing the world sees and believes

Yet within this darkness hangs a small lantern that brightens my today

Only the people who get stuck in the long waiting traffics of my life get to see this amazing light

But then, how many people can I tie close when my friendship comes with no strings attached

How many more confused hearts can my abode accommodate before wishes send me the right spells to focus their eyes on the bright side of my life?

I don’t wish to remain like this forever

If only I could tell when this curse will be lifted

I would have asked of you to let go of me now so you can find me in my perfection when my tomorrow finally arrives

But such is this world, where tomorrow is always hidden from today

The only presents tomorrow sends are wishes, and every day I wish you can harvest my thoughts without me uttering a word

I know that’s close to a child’s wish for Santa Claus, but at least it gives me the peace to believe you’ll understand me someday

As I wait for that perfect day when I find the right words to describe the complex gentleman holding this pen like a new born child

Please treat me with the patience of a mother’s love for her child

Because one day I’ll be understood

LOST IN YOU; HER LETTER

I forget who I am when I’m with you

Every shred of pain that linger in my tears each night seem to flee at the sound of your voice

These few moments with you is more than the paradise in which I drive my thoughts anytime I seek refuge from sorrow

When I look into your eyes, I see the guardian angel I never met

I know you are here, but sometimes it feels too good to be true

You make my heart beat again, then I feel alive more than I’ve ever felt

I get scared when I’m around you feeling I might wake up and you’ll just be another fantasy

That’s why I lie close to your body every night and seek to hear your voice every day just to make sure you are still here

You are a dilemma; the angel who mended my broken heart and filled it with joy yet the devil who makes me do all the things I promised myself I’ll never do

I’m lost in your arms.

I give my heart, my body and soul to you.

Hold me like a guitar

And play whatever melody you wish with me, anything to bring you joy

But please promise me you’ll never leave

Promise me you’ll never change and never let me go

I might be a fool, but I don’t want to think twice about you

For I’m giving you all of me, everything I am with the trust of an innocent child

Lost In You; Her Letter
LOWERING THE SAILS

I ordered my men to drop the anchor

We staying here tonight

I’m docking my ship by your tears

Will set back to sail when your smile stirs the waves to life again

I see in you the adventures of the richest oceans, the very ones I long to sail the remainder of my life

But it’s hard to navigate through your past and dark memories

You hold the beauty of a young fantasy

Your eyes hold the twinkle of the stars

Yet you fog them like the storm welcoming clouds

How much would it cost you, my heavenly ocean, to smile again?

For that I’ll be willing to sacrifice a quest for the lost treasures of the seven seas

The feminine touch of whisky in the cold nights

And tumble into your arms like an autumn leave

You are a boast of the perfection of the creator

If it so pleases you, make me the mechanic to your flawless body

And I promise to captain you on a maiden voyage to a timeless happiness

For you deserve more than a queen in a ‘live happily ever after’ story

And I am willing to serve you with the care for a royal jewel

Till my breadth fades away.

Lowering The Sails
GOODNIGHT LOVE

Let’s make a fool out of the world tonight,

allow me to take off your clothes so we can deceive the world the sun is out again.

Let me hold you right here in my arms

so when the nights get cold I can strip the clouds from the skies to cover the perfection of your flawless body

Let me kiss away your shyness, whenever you hold my hand in tune to the melodies of the morning birds.

For baby, the stars are out tonight;

they came to catch a glimpse of your twinkling beauty.

Goodnight Love
WISDOM SPEAKS

Far in a distant land, the heart of a nation is broken. Her daughters fight each other over her possessions, her name has been decorated with corruption and injustice and her cry remains unheard by her neighbors. She was once a luxury, decorated in gold and the sparkles of diamonds till greed bought his way to her land. Love builds, but greed bears the shears that split love like the tongue of a serpent. How she wishes she had baptized her children in the ever flowing waters of love than gathering wealth; but her destiny looks inevitable now.

What did you learn ye neighbors? Were you not witnesses to her plight? Yet you wrap yourselves in the bed of lies and deceit whiles your children stay divided fighting themselves over power. Your future looks worse than your doomed neighbor I say to you; for in power, they will be poisoned by greed, and greed is the forerunner to your doom; for when love is banished, evil reigns.

Listen to the words of wisdom today ye doomed ones, so you may reverse the curse you placed on yourselves. Unite your children even in your slumber; in their unity you’ll discover the cure to your pain. Seek love first, even in your hardship; for when love finds comfort on your throne, evil will seek refuge even in your wrongs. Marry truth and stop fornicating with deceit; for though truth is strict in his ways, his ways will mend the division amongst your children. I will pray for you, I will pray for your children and pray that love never departs you.

Wisdom Speaks
THE OLD MAN'S TALE

Faith always fights reality in our thoughts. Such a close battle, yet I’ll always vote for faith. Don't ask what influence my judgment yet. Before you decide where you’ll place your bet, get your popcorn  join my train, and let’s watch this battle complete in our own minds. I might not be a good referee; I already chose the corner of faith before this whole battle begin. But I can promise you, I’ll face this issue equally as much as I can.

I’ll like to start with a short story about a great kingdom. A story is told, that once two sons were born to a prince. The two were twins, bearing a resemblance of a mirror. Their mother perished and died through their birth. Sorrow clouded the kingdom as to the admiration this prince carried across the tribes in this kingdom. As if a heartbreak was not enough, a great mistake crawled through their sorrow and neglect; maybe because it’s hard to foresee the destiny of a young prince, how much worse his seeds. For nobody found it necessary to define the elder of the twins from the younger till death took in succession the royal chamber. The throne now rested on these two twins but only one could become king.

One grew up a warrior, the leader of his father’s battalions, he won all the wars that earned the kingdom their glory with his strength and power and is feared throughout the surrounding kingdoms. The other grew up a thinker, the decision maker of the kingdom, the brain behind the battle plans his brother won and the comfort in which the kingdom exist. For their father won his wars with the warrior but derived his war plan from the thinker. He built this great kingdom with the possessions and royalties from the wars they won and slaves they made which lay in the strength of the warrior but every idea as to what to build, what to provide, how to bring the tribes together and their harmony came from the thinker.

I’ll end the story here and give you the power to choose a king for this kingdom. I am done, and so I hope your popcorn is finish. If you are still wondering what this story has to do with faith and reality, I’ll tell you more. The story quotes that this prince, the father of the twins, is the greatest king ever ruled and his kingdom was the greatest kingdom ever lived for none before him nor “AFTER” him accomplished even half his success. A word to the wise!

If that is still not clear, I’ll put it in plain language. The ways of a warrior, is reality but the ways of a thinker is faith. Like the thinker made plans that the warrior fought with his strength and conquered nations, so shall be your success when you back your faith with actions which is reality. Like the warrior gave his possessions and slaves from the war to the strength of the thinker which he used to build the greatest kingdom, so shall you find an inner peace and strength when you leave everything you find in the wars of your life, especially the things you can’t deal with, in the hands of faith.
